Remuera is an area unlike any other. With its boutiques, sporting facilities, parks, community centres and lovely, expansive library, it’s a special community and we’re proud to be part of it. We may be new, but our goal is to become woven into the area’s fabric. Like all new neighbours, we feel it’s important to get to know the locals and we’ve been proud to host special events for members of Remuera and neighbouring suburbs. It’s a real pleasure to meet so many people and see them enjoying interesting and informative events and displays, while experiencing Rawhiti Estate for themselves.

Even before we welcomed our very first resident and began operating in late October, we have hosted several events that have involved the local community.

We have had our neighbours around to celebrate the completion of Rawhiti Estate and to thank them for their patience throughout the build. We also had Angus McPhee, our Sales Manager and all-around good sport, dress up as Santa Claus and give out chocolate goodies to kids and parents alike during our Christmas carols evening.

More recently, we have had Brent Impey, Chair of NZ Rugby stop by to discuss his time working with the nation’s beloved All Blacks. And, earlier this month, we had CareVets nurses and St. Kentigern prep students come by for a presentation on kitten adoption and the benefits of spaying pets.

These events have allowed people to be welcomed through our door, meet our team and, most importantly, understand us, who we are, how we operate and that we embrace our position within this rich community.

With many more special events pencilled in on the horizon we very much look forward to seeing more members of the community coming through our open doors.

Brent Impey, Chair NZ Rugby.
